Integrert design ved Hauklandstrand
The Hauklandstrand Visitor Center project is conceptualized to augment the natural beauty of Haukland Beach in Lofoten, Norway. The center is planned as an aesthetically pleasing yet unobtrusive structure that will serve tourists and locals alike, enhancing their visit while ensuring a minimal environmental footprint. The design addresses the need for a traffic and parking system that complements the surrounding landscape without causing disruption.
Gateway til utendørs eventyr
With the majestic natural surroundings as a backdrop, the project aims to establish a functional and welcoming hub for various outdoor activities, including hiking, water sports, and beach visits. The intent is to make the visitor center a gateway to the region's attractions, providing a well-equipped starting point for explorations throughout the entire area. The architectural approach is to integrate an inviting, circular form that harmonizes with spectacular views, creating diverse outdoor zones.
Miljøvennlig attraksjonsbygg
Focussed on being an attraction in itself, the building will be complemented with an outdoor wooden deck made from Kebony, offering a variety of leisure spots. The design includes abundant glass facades for immersive panoramic vistas and will serve as a sheltered area against the elements. As a competition entry for the National Tourist Routes in Norway, the project covers 300 m2 and is the collaborative effort of team members Tora Arctander, Johann Magnus Kjartansson, Marit Justine Haugen, and Dan Zohar.
