The Am Glattbogen project involves the replacement construction of 229 rental apartments, commercial zones, and childcare facilities in Zurich. The development features 19 multi-occupancy homes grouped into three building complexes. Notably, Buildings E and C are linked via a shared underground car park, while House D, located on the opposite side of the road, boasts its own underground parking facility. Building C, the tallest structure, includes nine storeys and an attic floor, while Buildings D and E each have five storeys.

Managed as a total contractor project, Implenia faces several challenges due to the project's unique location. The development site is divided by Am Glattbogen road and lies close to the River Glatt and a railway line, necessitating stringent environmental protections. The ground quality is poor and heterogeneous, crowded with numerous pipelines and utility lines, further complicating the planning process. Meticulous resource and deadline planning is crucial given the high-quality architecture and complex façade structures.

Sustainability is a significant focus for the project. Each building is equipped with controlled living space ventilation systems. Photovoltaic systems are installed on every roof, collectively generating approximately 188,800 kWh of electricity annually. Heating is supplied via district heating pipelines connected to Zurich's ERZ disposal and recycling organization, ensuring efficient and eco-friendly energy consumption.

The project was initiated by ASIG Wohngenossenschaft, with architectural design by pool Architekten. Construction began in July 2016 and reached completion in January 2019. The total construction volume was valued at 82 million CHF (approximately 83.2 million USD), with values converted according to average yearly exchange rates during the project's realization period.
