The CSS Romandie Office Complex in Lausanne is part of the cantonal development plan (PAC) for the Biôpole site, designed mainly for companies in the health and medical sciences sectors. This building project capitalizes on the natural slope of the terrain, with a terrace bordered by a retaining wall. The building consists of five arms meeting in the center, optimizing natural light and views of the five thematic gardens dedicated to the senses.

Fleksibelt kontorrom for 500 arbeidsstasjoner

The building's design prioritizes comfortable and adaptable office spaces, targeting around 500 workstations. Each wing can be rented out completely, or subdivided to suit the needs of different tenants. The spatial organization supports both open-plan and individual office layouts, facilitated by a carefully designed circulation route, load-bearing structure, and glazing grid.

Effektiv utnyttelse av arealet

With a gross floor area of nearly 14,000 m² and a building volume of approximately 73,000 m³, the CSS Romandie Office Complex efficiently utilizes the allocated buildable area. The project was developed to adapt to varied administrative uses, ensuring optimized comfort for workstations. The structure comprises slabs supported by central pillars and columns with reduced cross-sections at the slab edges.

Bygging fullført på ett år

The construction of the project began in June 2011 and was completed by June 2012. Architectes B+W architecture Sàrl, featuring Brauen Ueli and Wälchli Doris from Lausanne, were the architects responsible for this innovative design.
