Strategic Plot for Care Home

The EMS Le Pacific care home is situated on a 9,260 m2 plot in Etoy, between Morges and Rolle. This strategically located project lies within an industrial estate and aims to integrate various community-centric facilities including a hotel, a medically supervised facility, a museum, and administrative buildings. The master plan covers around six hectares, contributing to the structured and pragmatic development of the area.

Innovative H-Shaped Design

The care home is designed in an 'H' shape, with two wings connected by a central area. This central section features an atrium that enhances visual communication between the levels and serves as a gathering space for residents. The rooms in the wings are arranged around a central sanitary core, optimizing the living space and providing ample natural light through bow windows with scenic views. The building is harmoniously integrated into the park, with facades that contribute to its overall lightness and aesthetic appeal.

Integrated Facilities with Park Views

The facility includes six buildings arranged around courtyards, all offering unobstructed views of the landscape. An underground car park minimizes the visible parking areas, complementing the building's integration into the environment. The care home comprises a first floor, two upper floors, and a partial basement, offering 72 single rooms, eight kitchenette rooms, and a four-room apartment. Additionally, the facility features a divisible dining and multi-purpose room, a professional kitchen, various administrative and operational rooms, and 37 outdoor parking spaces.

Completed in One Year

Construction of the EMS Le Pacific began in June 2007 and was completed in June 2008. The project was designed by the architectural firm Meier & Associés Architectes SA Genève, with collaboration from Ana-Inès Pepermans.
