The project involved the construction of a new access road on the premises of Fischer Papier AG in Bern, Switzerland. Prior to the construction, various foundations and pavement areas were demolished and disposed of accordingly. The terrain was excavated down to the subgrade level before being rebuilt with a foundation layer designed to support the new road body.

The final steps of the project involved relocating the edges and laying down the rolled asphalt layers for the new access road and associated parking spaces. Careful coordination was required to ensure minimal disruption to Fischer Papier AG’s ongoing operations, especially considering the limited time windows available for deliveries during the morning and evening.

Implenia Switzerland Ltd was the sole contractor for this project, which was managed by BSB + Partner Ingenieure und Planer AG. The construction work commenced in May 2023 and was completed within the same month. The total construction volume amounted to 137,000 CHF, with equivalent values converted to other currencies.
