Ny distrikt fra fabrikkområde
Bernapark AG developed the 'Bernapark' on a former factory site, creating a new district that integrates living, working, and leisure. Implenia carried out extensive civil engineering tasks in various stages and parts of the site to support this transformation.
Utførte forurensningsundersøkelser og gravearbeid
The works commenced with exploratory surveys to identify any contaminated soil. Subsequent tasks included excavation for district heating, wastewater, and electrical lines. This necessitated the prior demolition of pavement, concrete slabs, and underground structures in some instances. Trenching was used as needed, complemented by the construction of various shafts with diameters up to 3.0m, connecting to existing pipelines, and core drilling to insert into buildings.
Miljøarbeid og rørinstallasjon
Further tasks involved encasing pipelines, filling and compacting trenches, and restoring or paving reinforced floor slabs. Additional rehabilitation and environmental works included grading, surfacing, concrete tasks, relocating edge trims, gutters, and candelabra foundations. The project also featured constructing a clean water outlet into the Worble river with a control shaft, designing the playground surroundings, and installing a walk-in cavern for district heating pipes and relocating a 2.5m diameter, 4.5m deep pumping shaft with associated pipes.
Fullført på 2 år, 2.8 mCHF
The project was executed as the sole contractor by Implenia Switzerland Ltd, Division Civil Engineering Switzerland, in coordination with other site contractors and managing the challenges of existing utility lines, reinforced concrete demolition, and contaminated subsoil. The project commenced in March 2020 and was completed in December 2022, with a construction volume of 2.8 million CHF (with equivalent values in other currencies).
Omfattende tjenester og samarbeid
The project involved multiple services such as earthworks, pipeline and sewer construction, in-situ concrete, and pavement construction. Bernapark AG was the building owner, with Ryser Ingenieure AG providing engineering expertise.
