The Luzerner Pensionskasse (Lucerne Pension Fund) constructed the new HWW 'Living Science' student accommodation building on the ETH Hönggerberg campus in partnership with Losinger Marazzi AG. Implenia played a critical role in producing the prefabricated wall elements for this hybrid building. The wall elements included a pre-mounted façade made of pressure-treated silver fir and extruded aluminum trim elements, highlighting the project's emphasis on precision and modern materials. The actual installation of these elements was carried out by a separate firm, ensuring specialized management of different construction phases.

One of the primary challenges faced during the project was achieving precision tolerances in the façade prefabrication. This level of precision was crucial to ensure a seamless installation and high-quality finish, reflecting the advanced construction techniques employed.
