Bygger ny barnehage og SFO
The Ecole La Planchette project, located in Aigle, entails the construction of infrastructure for pre-school and extracurricular care on an 18,218 m2 meadow adjacent to the Collège de la Planchette. This area is designated as a public utility zone and is in the heart of a 1960s district surrounded by residential buildings. The municipality initiated this project to address the strong demand for childcare services in the district.
Fremtidige bygg planlagt
Regulated by a PPA, the project includes the first building dedicated to pre-school and extracurricular facilities, with future plans for additional structures like a gymnasium and other school infrastructures based on evolving requirements. The architectural design segregates the building into four distinct volumes resembling a millefeuille, each tailored to different functional needs. This design approach not only meets specific requirements but also contributes to the building's unique character by creating offsets in the façade.

Key features of the building include a semi-subterranean floor housing a professional kitchen and food delivery access, a lower first floor independent of the rest of the building, and an upper first floor where the school canteen and access to the crèche and UAPE are located. The central part of the building features a large circulation area with a 3-meter-wide corridor capable of accommodating 300 children. The upper floor hosts a spacious reception area, eliminating the need for corridors. The total building volume is 7,800 m3.
