Utviklet av Booth & Associates
The Gillespie-B1.9 Solar Project is a 2.3 MW DC distribution-generated solar farm located in Fayetteville, North Carolina. This project was developed and constructed by Booth & Associates, part of the Omexom network in the USA, in collaboration with the Fayetteville Public Works Commission (PWC). Booth provided design and construction management services, leveraging their extensive experience with over 4.7 GW of PV solar projects completed over the past 12 years.
15 måneder bygging, drift siden 2025
Spanning 15 months of construction, the solar farm operates at 12.47 kV and has been fully energized since May 2025. It now supplies clean, renewable energy to approximately 1,000 local homes, supporting Fayetteville’s efforts to meet green energy mandates and reduce reliance on investor-owned utility power. The transition from construction to full operation was marked by the energization of the AC equipment, a key milestone for the project team.
Tverrfaglig team sikret kvalitet
Booth’s Raleigh office played a central role throughout the project development, supported by early collaboration from Omexom in France. Their combined engineering expertise in electrical and civil engineering, surveying, and installation design was critical in transforming the concept into reality. The client expressed strong satisfaction with the project, highlighting Booth’s effectiveness in adhering to their requirements and contributing to environmental progress.
Bidrar til økt solenergiutbygging
