Utvider fjernvarmenettverket
Energie Wasser Bern is leading the Holligen Nord project to connect the Holligen district with district heating pipelines through various expansion stages. This initiative is part of a comprehensive plan aimed at providing customers with ecological and sustainable heating options swiftly. The project also includes renovations to water, gas, and electrical lines, along with their network connections, hydrants, and transformer stations.
Renovasjon av avløps- og lysnett
Additionally, the city of Berne is collaborating with Energie Wasser Bern to renovate public wastewater pipes in certain areas, ensuring coordination for efficiency. Street lighting in the area will be upgraded with environmentally friendly LED technology. Homeowners needing to renew their network connections will receive separate communications from Energie Wasser Bern.
Utfordringer og budsjett
Despite the project's many benefits, it faces challenges such as tight space conditions and the coordination of material supply, particularly with the pipe builder FW. This inner-city project has a construction volume valued at 7.3 million CHF (8 million USD) and began in May 2022, with an expected completion in November 2024.
Prosjektplanlegging av B+S AG
The project is under the planning and oversight of B+S AG, with Energie Wasser Bern serving as the building owner. Once completed, the upgraded infrastructure will offer significant environmental and societal benefits by enhancing the efficiency and sustainability of the district's heating and utility services.
