Vant Nordic Lighting Design Award
The Queen Silvia Concert Hall in Sweden has been awarded the prestigious Nordic Lighting Design Award 2024. The announcement was made at the Lysets dag event in Oslo on November 13th. The award recognizes the concert hall's outstanding lighting design, which enhances the architectural beauty of the space while meeting high acoustic and flexibility standards.
Kostnadseffektivt og støyfritt lysdesign
Achieving this feat on a very low budget, the lighting designers conducted extensive preliminary studies to ensure the luminaires not only provided high-quality lighting but were also noise-tested to avoid disturbing the acoustics. This attention to detail has created a glare-free lighting environment that accommodates various event requirements. The user-friendly control system enables staff to transform the hall's lighting setup with a simple push of a button, making it versatile for different events and creating a special, emotional atmosphere for the audience.
