Utvider til fire spor
The SBB Vierspurausbau project in Liestal involves the expansion of the SBB railway line from two to four tracks over a stretch of 2.5 km. This project includes upgrading the train station with new structures and modifying existing infrastructure to avoid train-crossing conflicts and improve punctuality. The total project cost is CHF 380 million, with the contract volume amounting to around CHF 115 million.
Ny infrastruktur og parkeringsplass
The construction work includes installing additional tracks, modifying all overpasses and underpasses, extending the platform, and constructing a car park. Furthermore, the project necessitates changes to cantonal and municipal transport infrastructure in the vicinity. Notable third-party installations affected include various public transport systems. Construction began in June 2019 and is scheduled to conclude in August 2025.
