70 Leiligheter med Garasje
The Bodenmattpark Residential Development, located in the village centre of Schmitten, includes the new construction of 70 owner-occupied flats. These flats are distributed across five buildings, each with five storeys. The design incorporates walkways and a playground to align with the village character. Additionally, a parking garage connects the buildings at the ground level and provides 104 parking spaces, ensuring step-free access to all flats.
Utfordringer med Sentral Beliggenhet
Several challenges were encountered during construction due to the plot's central location in Schmitten. These included conflicts with the dense surrounding buildings, construction site setup, and ensuring safety for children en route to school. Specific measures such as material replacement and groundwater sealing were necessary due to the subsoil geology. Existing old service pipes had to be relocated, and there was a need to manage meteoric water infiltration on the site.
Minergie Standard og Bærekraft
Sustainability was a key focus for the project, built to the Minergie standard (albeit not certified). Geothermal probes were employed for heat generation, supported by a photovoltaic system installed on all buildings. E-mobility stations in the AEH further enhance the efficient use of solar energy.
Fullført Mars 2020, Kostnad 19.6m CHF
The project was completed in March 2020, having started in April 2018. kpa architekten Bern AG, KGV - Kt. Gebäudeversicherung Fribourg, and Sallin Immobilier SA Fribourg were the primary building owners, with kpa architekten Bern AG serving as the architect. The total construction cost was 19.6 million CHF, covering a build volume of 37,026 m² and 12,589 m² of commercial space.
