Hovedentreprenør for fasade

UPB is involved as the general contractor responsible for delivering the facade of Carl’s Tårn, a new 23-story tower in the Carlsberg Byen district of Copenhagen. The project is developed in collaboration with Pihl & Søn A/S and designed by the Wingårdhs architectural firm.

Unik fasade med UHPC

Carl’s Tårn will rise 80 meters and feature a unitized facade system with dark bronze aluminum cladding and architectural arches, which reference and honor the historic architecture of the district. The facade design includes unique bay windows and balconies constructed from ultra-high-performance concrete (UHPC), enhancing both aesthetics and durability.

These bay windows and balconies will provide abundant natural light to the interior spaces as well as spectacular views of Copenhagen’s evening cityscape. The combination of modern materials and design aims to enrich the urban environment while respecting the historic fabric of the Carlsberg Byen neighborhood.
