Renovering på Hummelbergstrasse 8-16
The project at Hummelbergstrasse 8-16 involved the renovation of existing residential properties located in an attractive area of Rapperswil-Jona. Despite good occupancy rates, the owner had long intended to renovate the buildings. Options requested by the owner and administration previously made the renovation economically unfeasible.
Implenia optimaliserte og planla
Implenia was brought on as the general planner to optimize existing plans, evaluate requirements, and select feasible options using a design-to-cost model. Working closely with all stakeholders, Implenia ensured the construction project met target costs and enabled successful long-term letting. In its role as the total contractor, Implenia Modernisation guaranteed an efficient and cost-secure refurbishment.
Utfordrende renoveringsoppgaver håndtert
Significant challenges in the project included renewing horizontal sanitary pipes in the basement, lining vertical risers, and providing temporary facilities. Additionally, interior renovations of bathrooms, showers, and kitchens were carried out while the units remained occupied throughout the construction period. The project was meticulously planned to minimize inconvenience to residents.
Fullført renovering på 4.7 mCHF
The renovation was executed at a construction volume of 4.7 million CHF, with the project starting in February 2020 and completing in February 2021. Swisscanto Anlagestiftung, represented by Zürcher Kantonalbank, was the building owner. Key collaborators included Stähli AG Architekten SIA, shz Gebäudetechnik AG for building automation, and Ingenieurbüro Meteor GmbH for energy supply planning.
